Fire Trade Supplies is a legitimate UK-based business supplying fire safety equipment internationally.
We offer international shipping under recognised Incoterms, including DAP (Delivered at Place) Or Ex-works (if requested by the customer)
Under DAP Incoterms® 2020, the seller (Fire Trade Supplies) is responsible for arranging delivery to the agreed destination, while the buyer is responsible for import customs clearance, duties and tariffs imposed by their own country.
This is not a policy invented by Fire Trade Supplies, but an internationally recognised trading arrangement established by the International Chamber of Commerce.
Having reviewed our website, including our delivery information and Conditions of Sale, we can confirm that nowhere do we advertise, promise or state that Fire Trade Supplies will cover US or any international import tariffs on behalf of customers.
We have no control over tariffs imposed by the United States government, and it would not be reasonable to suggest our business is fraudulent simply because we do not absorb these government-imposed charges.
We strongly reject the accusation that Fire Trade Supplies is a scam. We operate professionally and transparently and take our business reputation seriously.
We appreciate that additional import charges can be frustrating. However, we strongly disagree with the suggestion that our company is a scam simply because we have not agreed to absorb tariffs imposed by another country's government.
We pride ourselves on conducting business professionally and transparently, and we believe such accusations are both unfair and unwarranted.
