The Solo 365-001 represents the new standard for the functional testing of smoke detectors. Positioned as a significant electronic upgrade from the traditional Solo 330 dispenser, it offers a more efficient, "on-demand" smoke solution for engineers who focus primarily on smoke detection. While it sits below the Testifire XTR2 range (which offers combined Smoke, Heat, and CO testing in a single head), the Solo 365 is the ultimate dedicated smoke tester for high-volume maintenance and commissioning.

By using an infrared proximity sensor to initiate testing, the Solo 365 eliminates aerosol waste and significantly reduces the risk of detector contamination. Its slim-line, lightweight design—15% lighter than the Solo 330—allows for easier movement around site and improved access to detectors in tight spaces.

• Auto-Torch Technology: An integrated LED automatically illuminates the detector when the unit is raised, making it easy to align the tester in dark environments or ceiling voids.
• Clearing Mode: A built-in fan clears smoke from the detector chamber after activation to prevent frustrating re-alarms and allow for quicker movement between test points.
• Delayed Start Mode: A dedicated mode for testing non-standard detectors and Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) systems.
• Intelligent Safety: Features automatic power-off after 10 minutes of inactivity and built-in safety cut-outs for battery over-current and over-temperature protection.

• Field Replaceable: The smoke generator (Solo 371) and battery are user-replaceable consumables, meaning there is no requirement for factory servicing.
• Clear View: The "Clear Cup" design ensures the engineer can always see the detector's LED status throughout the test.
• Storage: The unit should be stored in a dry environment (0 to 90% RH) within the recommended temperature range of -10°C to 50°C.
