CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI)-IS Intrinsically Safe Compatible Dual Zone Monitor - DIN Enclosure with SCI
Manufactured by Hochiki, this Hochiki CHQ-DZM/DIN (SCI) Is Intrinsically Safe Compatible Dual Zone Monitor - Din Enclosure With SCI is Dual Zone Module which is fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP analogue addressable protocol and I.S. equipment. It is supplied as a DIN Rail mountable module, a boxed version is also available. Addressing is achieved via simple DIL switches.
The device is designed to allow up to 40 (20 per zone) Conventional I.S. CDX Range detectors (SLR-E-IS or DCD-1E-IS) in the hazardous area to be interfaced to Hochiki's ESP analogue addressable system within the safe area.

Features:
- (Please note that this module should only be installed in the safe area). The conventional zones on the CHQ-DZM/DIN(SCI)-IS do not support any line continuity options; therefore if Call Points are being interfaced they should be wired at the beginning of the zone.
- An appropriate barrier must be used.
- Single loop address
- Requires an auxiliary 24 V dc supply
- Supports two independent zones of Hochiki I.S. Conventional Detectors
- Both zones fully monitored for short/open-circuit
- Boxed module version also available
- Both models feature an integral short-circuit isolator
