The Conventional Exd Flame Detector (IR2) is designed for use in hazardous environments in indoor applications. The combination of filters and signal processing allows the sensor to be used with a very low risk of false alarms in difficult situations characterised by factors such as flickering lights. BASEEFA has certified the detector for compliance to standards EN 60079-0, EN 60079-1 and EN 61241-1.
